The National Museum of Women in the Arts celebrated their 25th anniversary over the weekend. Seeing the gowns on some of the guests, it seemed as if some of these women had stepped from the paintings on the walls to join the celebration.

I Hate ♡ PowerPoint

Time was I hated Power Point.

Not because there are too many dull PowerPoint presentations with tiny print no one can read, though there are. But because once someone says "PowerPoint" at a meeting, the lights are turned down so low you can barely see.

But that was back in the days of film and early digital cameras. My current camera can take a clear, seemingly bright picture in conditions so dark they leave most of us squinting. And when you're shooting a long two-day scientific conference in Chicago, that makes all the difference.
